G9 Metal Shade Ring 13196

Had two light fittings which cost about £300. One shade ring had broken when I was trying to get the bulb out. Until I found the replacement shade rings I was faced with buying two new light fittings. Amazingly, the new shade ring even fits the plastic tool, which came with the light fittings, whereas the old shade rings did not. A brilliant find.

Been looking for these for ages didn’t know what they were called so I delighted when I recognised them on this site, I then compared the measurements and ordered them I’m very happy with the service and quality

Only comment is that p&p was more expensive than the item, especially as it was a small package that fitted through letterbox. The G9 shade rings on my were of such poor quality (Tin foil springs to mind!) they needed replacing after a short while and the original supplier wanted £2.00 each for replacements. Because of the poor quality I queried if the replacements would be similar. As the answer was affirmative. I searched web for better quality items and fortunately found Lamp Spares who supplied a far better product at a sensible price. Thanks Lamp Spares. Will definitely use you again.

Perfect for the job

After much searching the rings are just what I needed to finish a light fitting purchased previously from Homebase who weren’t forthcoming with the missing items. Only comment is postage costs a little excessive

Unbelievably nowhere on the high street sold these: thankfully lampspares saved the day.

Just the job, replaced my old plastic rings, which had gone out of shape and no longer fitted right. These not only fitted the shades but the fitting tool as well. Hence the 5 star rating.
