I wanted to convert some old stage lamps into "standard lamps" in my music room to create a good atmosphere. They were perfect for the job. Needed to take out the old innards first and rewire the casing but it worked a treat. See photo. Mounted the lamps on camera tripods bought for £10 each on Amazon. Total cost of three lamps was £35 all in. Great!
