ES | E27 | Edison Screw Brass Threaded Lampholder with 1/2″ Base Fixing
This ES | E27 | Edison Screw Brass Threaded Lampholder with 1/2″ Base Fixing is the best way to give your sentimental light fitting a new
lease of life or to get inspiration from the variety of colours for a
brand new lighting project that this lampholder would be incredible for.
The ES | E27 | Edison Screw Bronze Plain Lampholder with 1/2″ Fixing will flawlessly screw on to a ½” and topped off with one of our
beautiful lamps and one of our many quality braided cables you can’t go
wrong.
Comes in 3 parts comprising of the cap which is the section that screws
onto the fixing of the light fitting (or cord grip for a pendant lamp)
the centre connection unit where you will connect the live (Brown) and
neutral (Blue) and Earth (Yellow and Green) then the top section which
will screw over the connection unit and onto the cap.
This lampholder comes complete with 1 shade ring you may need to purchase an additional shade ring to hold a shade, please find the additional shade ring by searching for the following SKU: 38065

Please Note: This 1/2″ lampholder will NOT fit the 1/2″ BSP gas pipe, BSP gas pipe is alot larger in diameter and is a totally different thread style.
These fittings are proper hard-core what my dad would have called engineered .. they feel quality and look the part. Wiring was an.easy job as was fitting to the lamp bases I have also purchased a non threaded es lamp holder from lamp.spares which feels cheap and low rent by comparison but had the profile I needed .. I have been scared off a number of ebay and.amazon.alternatives because of the use of a cardboard sleeve as an insulator which is visible and not inspiring.confidence.
My only gripe is these are far from cheap to buy and.make renovatimg and creating new lamps far too expensive.
I was stuck with ES fittings due to the bulbs I wanted to use and the trade off is a humongous holder that looks out of place compared to.a BC holder.. if you can stick with BC do it.

I would advise anyone to not buy the so called E27 lampholders form amazon and eBay with the cardboard isolators as they are actually in fact E26 lampholders and have NO CE or BS certification as you are not allowed to use cardboard as an isolator over in the UK.
They are fine for use in the states.

Really happy with the product. I’m not an expert but I wanted to change the fittings on some lamps I had from white plastic to bronze and gold colours. So happy with it. This lamp holder is a lovely shape and looks really nice.
