SES | E14 | Small Edison Screw Plain Brass Lampholder with 10mm Base Fixing 50150

With these E14 bulb holders I was able to restore a beautiful old ornate table lamp which I thought I would have to throw away.
The previous ebonite bulb holders had become brittle and were falling apart maybe due to heat from old incandescent bulbs. The new brass bulb holders and LED bulbs should last a lifetime

What can I say, if you want quality lamp parts for making lamps Lampspares is the only place, the small Edison screw lamp holder may or may not go on a Blow lamp conversion, still deciding if the larger Edison screw , also from Lampspares would be more in proportion, Well if this is the only decision I have to make in these interesting times, so be it, thank you Lampspares

Product was good quality. Delivery was quite quick. Postage costs high when only buying one item

There's 2 reasons I marked this down.
1. There's a holding screw in the base that the printed instructions don't refer to but are mentioned on the website. I only found out after I'd done the install and had to unwire it. Not that it really matters as despite screwing it down, it still twists when you try to take the bulb out.
2. there's no instructions on how to take it apart. I ended up forcing it as the only reference to loosening the top bit makes no sense as I found I couldn't get the top bit out.
With better instructions it would be 4 stars for installation. If the switch had been the right way around the quality would've been 5.

This product arrived on time and was as described and exactly what I needed. The quality was not up to the ones they are replacing but we are in modern times and this can be excused.
