This steel
rod is 400mm long and is a 10mm thread, this is the obvious option for
creating a fixing for any light fitting and lamp. This threaded rod is
completely hollow to allow you to run a cable through the centre
straight into the lampholder that would be threaded on the top.
To allow a lampholder to be screwed on there will need to be 6mm (Max)
of thread sticking out the top so that the lampholder can be screwed
down on top. Paired with our 10mm Nuts and 10mm Washers on your lamp base, it will create a sturdy and secure fixing for you to then attach your lampholder and accessories.

Very good product and excellent service
This is a pepper mill from a charity shop dismantled, innards removed, together with the base of a pine mug tree, then tied together using a 360mm allthread, a nut (under) and a B22 holder from my recent Lampspares order and some wood glue. Lightly sanded & brushed with oak stain. Wiring next.
