This Steel 10mm All thread 25mm Long Hollow Rod is perfect for creating a fixing point for your light fitting, as well as being hollow this will also allow the cable to be run up inside it.
The lampholder requires 6mm (max) of thread sticking out the top so the lampholder can be screwed down on top.
Great for hiding the cable inside a light fitting, and is very easy to cut down using a hacksaw.
Please Note: The inside of this threaded rod maybe dirty, but also has a seam on the inside, which can in some cases scratch and mark the cable, please ensure to test this prior to installing.
If you want to use this with braided cable, then you may need to run a 7mm drill bit inside the rod first to remove the seam mark.
